Only travelling within Ireland? Our Ireland-only plan starts from €11/day.
Do longer trips get a cheaper daily rate?
Yes. The longer you rent, the less you pay per day.
A 5-day trip costs around €11 per day. A 14-day trip drops to around €8 per day. A 25-day trip is around €7 per day.
For example, a 14-day rental works out at roughly €112 in total. If you paid the short-trip rate for the same 14 days, it would be around €154. You save about €42 just by renting for longer.
The price for your exact dates shows up automatically at checkout. No codes, no maths.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
No deposit. No hold on your card. You only pay what's shown at checkout.
What if I damage or lose the device?
Normal wear and tear is on us. Small scratches, the occasional drop or splash, no problem.
If the device is lost or damaged beyond repair, there's a €65 replacement charge. That's it.
Want extra peace of mind? You can add product protection at checkout for €18, which fully covers the €65 charge if anything happens to the device.
Lost it or worried about damage? Email us at hello@wificandy.ie. We're based in Dublin and usually reply within a few hours.

Can you deliver to my home, hotel or Airbnb?
Yes, we deliver to all three.

Airbnbs: At checkout, include the Eircode, house or apartment number, and a note with your check-in date and time so we can time the delivery to your arrival.
Not sure of your Eircode? Find it at eircode.ie.
When will I receive my WiFiCandy?
You'll usually receive your WiFiCandy 1 to 2 working days before your start date. You'll get a tracking number by email as soon as your parcel is on its way.
What are the shipping costs?
Shipping starts from €7. The exact cost depends on where you want it delivered, and you'll see the final price at checkout before you pay.
What if my parcel is delayed or doesn't arrive?
If your parcel hasn't reached you by your start date, email us straight away at hello@wificandy.ie. We'll check the tracking, contact the courier, and make sure you get connected one way or another.
How do I connect, and how many devices can I use?
Turn the device on, then find the network name and password. Depending on your device, you'll see them either on the screen after you turn it on, or on a sticker on the back. Connect just like you would to your home WiFi. Up to 8 devices at once, including phones, laptops, and tablets.
A printed quick-start guide comes in your parcel. You can also view it online any time: User Guide →
How long does the battery last?
Up to 10 hours on a full charge. A USB-C charging cable comes in the box.
If you're out all day and want to stay safe, a small power bank keeps it going for longer.
Where does it work? Can I take it outside Ireland?
In Ireland: the device works across the whole country with 99%+ coverage on Vodafone, Three, and Eir, including the Wild Atlantic Way, the Ring of Kerry, and rural areas.
Outside Ireland: it also works across the UK and Europe with no roaming fees. Just let us know at checkout where you're travelling, and we'll make sure the right plan is loaded.
It isn't connecting. What should I do?
Try these steps in order:
- Restart the device by holding the power button for 5 seconds.
- Check the signal indicator. If the signal is low, move closer to a window or step outside.
- Re-enter the password exactly as printed on the device, either on the screen or on the back.
- Make sure the battery isn't dead.
Still not working? Email us at hello@wificandy.ie. We usually reply within a few hours, and during weekday business hours, 9am to 8pm, you'll often hear back within the hour. If it turns out to be a hardware issue, we'll send a replacement at no cost.
How do I return the device?
We make returns simple. A pre-paid return label is included in your parcel.
If you're in Dublin Airport T2, drop the device at the SPAR Store.
Anywhere else, use the return label to post it back.
How much is the return fee?
The return fee starts from €7, depending on where you're returning the device from. The exact amount is included in your order total at checkout, so you won't be charged anything extra when you send it back.
Can I extend my rental?
Yes. Just email us at hello@wificandy.ie before your end date. Just pay for the extra days at your usual daily rate. No admin fees, no surcharges.
If you added product protection to your order, it will be extended to cover your new end date as well.
Didn't add protection at checkout? You can still add it when you extend, just let us know in your email.
What if I return the device late?
You have 72 hours after your end date to post the device back.
If it's returned later than that, you'll be charged at the standard daily rate for each additional day.
Need more time? Email us before your end date to extend your rental. Just pay for the extra days at your usual daily rate. No admin fees, no surcharges.
Can I change my dates?
If your trip plans shift, just email us at hello@wificandy.ie. In most cases we can change your dates without extra cost, and we'll always look for a solution that's fair on both sides.
What's your cancellation & refund policy?
Refund eligibility depends on when you cancel and how you're receiving the device. Most refunds are subject to a 6% processing fee charged by our payment provider.
In a few cases, such as device failure on our end, we cover the full refund ourselves with no deduction.
